1. Why did you choose this section?
I choose this section because I think that he clearly says what the state of our country is in. He's giving examples of our bad economy and how people have lost so much and how we are wasteful of our planets resources. He's understanding of people from lower class and unlike Bush, he shows interest in saving the planet from the effects of global warming. For that reason, that is why this statement stood out to me.

Obama's words relate to everyday life for me and most Americans because what he says is reality. Americans see and feel the changing of our climate and notice the extreme down to our economy.
