What responsibility do we have for the understanding of science?
I don't necessarily think that we have a responsibility for the understanding of science, but we have individuals willing to take on the task of understanding science to discover new and useful things.

What role should scientific inquiry and scientific knowledge play in our own society?
I think that scientific inquiry and scientific knowledge play a role of never ending discovers such as curing disease like cancer. People who have this knowledge could help out a lot in our society to develop new and useful things.

How should science influence our decisions, laws, and culture?
I think science should influence our decisions, laws, and culture because there will never be an end to science. Scientists discover endless things daily which contribute to our society.
